Autumn on the Little Blackfoot River

I love to explore some of the remote parts of Montana, looking for little streams, trying to capture the reflections and the movement of the water.  I loved exploring this area on the western slope of the Rockies near the small town of Avon and the autumn leaves were beginning to fall and float on the water.  The place was magical.

This piece was just juried into the Arkansas Pastel Society's 11th National Exhibition and will be on display November 12, 2025 — December 12, 2025.
